The new rules (effective May 1, 2026)

  • Fast Entry: a new listing ranking inside the top ~40 can join ~15 trading days after listing, with no name removed — the count may temporarily exceed 100.
  • Quarterly rank-based deletions: constituents outside the top 125 are removed at the Mar/Jun/Sep reviews.
  • Low-float weighting: under-20%-float securities weighted at 5× float; ad-hoc share adjustments bundled into quarters.

The clock

  • Annual reconstitution: reference date last trading day of November; effective at the open of Mon Dec 21, 2026 (after the Dec third Friday — quad witching liquidity).
  • Quarterly reviews: March, June, September — deletions and weight re-caps.
